Free Halloween Festivals in the US #Halloween

This is a quick guide to Free Halloween Festivals in the US.  

Chicagoween – Chicago, IL – Try Franken-pizza during the Farmers market, then wait for the fun at the Midnight Circus.

Little Five Ponts Halloween Festival and Parade – Atlanta, GA – This street bash draws up to 35,000 for a celebration of Halloween including a parade of crazy costumes and hearses!

Zombie Walk – Detroit, WI – Zombies here, Zombies there, aah!  But don’t forget to bring canned food and donations for the local food bank, these Zombies are charitable.

Seawitch Festival – Rehoboth Beach, DE – Parades, events, fun and games. The Seawitch Festival is fun for the whole family with events for 3 days.

Keene Pumpkin Festival – Keene, New Hampshire – This free Halloween festival used to hold the Guinness Book of World records for the most carved pumpkins.  28,000 pumpkins are aglow for this festival.

Texas Chainsaw Maze – Houston, TX – Based on old Horror movies this one is not for the lighthearted.  Afterward you can visit the Haunted houses there, but those will cost you ..bwhahahah.

Central Park Pumpkin Festival – New York, NY – Full of fun free events, like the Circus Berzerkus Haunted House, Hayrides, a scarecrow competition and arts and crafts. 

West Hollywood Halloween carnival – West Hollywood, CA – In LA area his is second in size only to the Rose Parade, they are serious about Halloween.   

The entire city of New Orleans – New Orleans, LA – All around the city are events to celebrate Halloween in what is probably the spookiest city in the world.   Even the day after. All Saints Day, revelers clean and decorate tombs.

Festival of the Dead – Salem, MA – What better place to celebrate witches than Salem? The town square fills with witches and revelers in celebration of Samhain, the witches holiday.

Anoka, Halloween – Anoka, MN – This town has been celebrating Halloween since 1920 and they know how to do it!  Enjoy house decorating contests, pumpkin carving and more.  Plus, don’t miss the parade!
